Laura Makabresku
Laura Makabresku is a photographer based out of Poland who captures beautiful imagery of dreams, fairy tales and the unknown.
She uses her thought on a variety of things such as god, darkness, happiness and herself to inspire her photography in order to express these feelings on many physical layers. Through the mediums of photography, poems, fairy tales and stories, she expresses these feelings and thoughts. In my work I would like to look at exploring different personal feelings and using those as inspiration to express those ideas in my project. Darkness and loneliness are themes I would like to look into expressing in my work.

Kavan Cardoza
Some terms that have been used to describe his work are violent, rhapsodic, impassioned, aggressive. Kavan relishes in his ability to birth an image that is both relatable and alienating all at once, using surreality as message and canvas. His photography is a means of communicating his "darkness." I find his work quite inspiring for my project because i would also like to look into darkness and personal feelings. I would like to look at exploring different facial expressions and environments like Kavan to express different emotions and feelings.
Chris Hieronimus
Chris Hieronimus is a talented photographer and student based in Stuttgart, German. He creates a dark mood/atmosphere in his photography and mainly works in black and white. I really like the black and white element to his work because I think that the black and white filter creates a darker and more atmosperic image. I would like to experiment with my original images by adding black and white filters to create a more atmospheric mood like Chris Hieronimus does in his work.
