Hélène Desplechin
Helene Desplechin's photography captures the complex nature of humans. The face people show the world is always different from the face they show their friends, not to mention very different from the face they see when they look in the mirror. Helene Desplechin's broken reflections manage to embody these fractured selves that reside in one body. Helene Desplechin uses transparent materials such as water and glass to evoke emotions.

Neil Dawson
Neil Dawson loves cities and is drawn to their colour, vibrancy and energy when looking for subject matter to paint. His work is full of both subtly and boldness, of light and dark and are constantly evolving and in a state of flux. He likes trying to capture the lights and movement of a city after dark. His work has inspired me look at exploring dark/night scenes with lots of different lights and colours as well as reflection during the day.
